Nittedal Theatre: “The Journey to the Christmas Star”

As winter darkness settles over Nittedal and the snow crunches beneath your feet, the doors to warmth, light and Christmas magic open at Kulturverket Flammen. The Journey to the Christmas Star is this year’s Christmas production for the whole family, presented by Nittedal Theatre.

Join young Sonja on her magical journey to find the missing Christmas Star. Along the way, she must overcome the evil Count and the wicked witch, with help from woodland elves, little birds, the North Wind and Santa Claus himself.

This is a story of hope and longing, sorrow and joy, and a reminder that Christmas is a time to care for one another. Will the Christmas Star shine once more? Find out at Nittedal’s cultural hub during the final weekend before Christmas Eve.

A large ensemble of professional actors and amateur performers from Teatersmia, part of Nittedal Theatre, will come together to fill Flammen with the magic and wonder of Christmas.

An unforgettable Christmas experience for the whole family - one you won’t want to miss!
